Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Language Programs for English language learners.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to promote inclusion and academic achievement.
- Establish and maintain a positive, structured learning environment that encourages language development and academic growth.
- Provide targeted support to students in acquiring English language skills and adapting to the classroom environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in ESL, TESOL, or a related field (Masters preferred).
- Certification:Valid TN ESL certification.
- Experience: Previous experience working as an ESL Teacher is highly desirable. Familiarity with language acquisition strategies is a plus. Knowledge of educational laws and best practices in ESL is essential.
