In this role, you'll play a crucial part in coordinating and teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, while also supporting our Adult Education (AE) and ESL Pathways program across a vibrant ten-county region in southwest Idaho. Essential Functions
- Coordinate and facilitate student orientation, assessment, and intake processes.
- Train and onboard enthusiastic teachers, work-study students, and volunteers.
- Schedule and organize classes to ensure a seamless learning experience.
- Inspire and educate students through engaging ESL instruction.
- Monitor and support students' progress towards their educational and career goals.
- Empower teachers with the skills to conduct effective orientation and student assessments.
- Ensure accurate data collection and reporting in student files and the Idaho Management and Accounting System (LACES).
- Develop insightful reports in line with National Reporting System (NRS) guidelines.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Embody and promote the values of CWI through your actions and words.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support our mission.
- Associate”s degree.
- A deep understanding of adult education, WIOA, Integrated Education and Training, and the role of Adult Education within the college system.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- A team player with excellent communication skills, capable of inspiring and supporting colleagues to achieve and exceed goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong computer skills.
- Keen attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively within AE and across departments.
- Previous experience in higher education is a plus.
- Ability to travel to multiple locations.
Salary : $18 - $22
