Key Responsibilities:
- Land Acquisition:
- Identify and assess potential land for acquisition or leasing.
- Conduct market research and feasibility studies.
- Negotiation:
- Negotiate terms and conditions of land purchases or leases with property owners and stakeholders.
- Prepare and present proposals to clients and landowners.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all land transactions comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Work with legal teams to review contracts and agreements.
- Client Relations:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, landowners, and stakeholders.
- Provide expert advice on land use and investment opportunities.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management and clients.
- Project Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage land-related projects.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, geography, or a related field.
- Proven experience in land acquisition, real estate, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of local land use laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in GIS and other land management software is a plus.
