Land Agent

Job Summary: The Land Agent is responsible for managing land acquisition and leasing activities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of land use policies, market trends, and client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Land Acquisition:
• Identify and assess potential land for acquisition or leasing.
• Conduct market research and feasibility studies.
• Negotiation:
• Negotiate terms and conditions of land purchases or leases with property owners and stakeholders.
• Prepare and present proposals to clients and landowners.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure all land transactions comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Work with legal teams to review contracts and agreements.
• Client Relations:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, landowners, and stakeholders.
• Provide expert advice on land use and investment opportunities.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management and clients.
• Project Management:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage land-related projects.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, geography, or a related field.
• Proven experience in land acquisition, real estate, or a related field.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of local land use laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in GIS and other land management software is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
