Tesoro Group is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to join our long-term clients' team within the Dallas / Forth Worth Metro and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in residential maintenance, have experience with unit turns, have knowledge of basic maintenance, be self-motivated, be able to organize multiple tasks throughout the day and is self-sufficient. These roles are of various skill levels and skill set – some require certifications such as CPO / Boilers and EPA while some require hands on proven experience.
Salary : DOQ, experience and current certifications.
Schedule : Monday-Friday : standard daytime hours (8am-9am start and 5pm-6pm end). No on-call while on contract, but some roles will require on-call after conversion. These roles are contract to hire (90 days before conversion).
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provide residents with exceptional customer service and foster good resident relations
- Be a valuable part of an effective on-site team
- Know and adhere to all standards of quality
- Maintain daily service request system and complete service requests
- Perform follow up calls on service requests
- Maintain preventive maintenance schedule and complete preventive maintenance
- Maintain physical appearance of the community
- Work after-hours emergency on-call rotation, as scheduled
- Perform apartment turnover duties
- Repair and replace appliances
- Maintain maintenance inventory
- Maintain safe and organized maintenance shop, storage and mechanical rooms
- Maintain lock out / tag out station of keys
- Maintain apartment history cards, lighting and snow logs
- Work with contractors on snow removal, lawn care, etc.
- Monitor HVAC equipment
- Shovel / sweep using broom, shovel snow
