What are the responsibilities and job description for the Roving Maintenance Technician - St. Paul/Roseville position at Tesoro Group?
Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Roving Maintenance Technician to join one of our long-term clients’ team at (3) of their properties in Roseville and St. Paul (2). The ideal candidate will have general maintenance knowledge, be self-motivated, be able to organize multiple tasks throughout the day and is self-sufficient. Boilers Certification / License is required for this role. This role is contract to hire (90 days before conversion).
This role will be working with (3) properties : Site 1 - built in 2020, 59 affordable housing units and 4 stories, Site 2 - built in 2015, 60 affordable housing units and 3 stories and Site 3 - built in 1912, 10 units, 2 stories.
Salary : $23-$27 / hour DOQ.
Schedule : Monday – Friday 8am – 430pm.
On-call Requirements : none while on contract or after conversion.
Responsibilities and Job Duties :
- Provide a variety of skilled building maintenance including repairs to sinks, windows, floors, and other parts of the building.
- Maintains the grounds as assigned which may include trash pick-up, shoveling, and sweeping curb / dumpster area, maintaining landscape beds and other areas.
- Preparation of vacant units for occupancy which may include cleaning responsibilities.
- Installation and repair of major and minor appliances (e.g. washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwashers, etc.).
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues, diagnose problems, replace and / or repair parts, test and make necessary adjustments to ensure issues are resolved.
- Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs as needed.
