A Director of Product Management will take ownership of building and maintaining mindshare as well as the overall commercial success of the designated product line(s) within the GetWireless sales and support team, along with all appropriate external Channel Partners and customers. This includes presales engineering support, training, maintaining the program and technical documentation, and delivering training content to new and approved integrators, end customers (public safety, utilities, and transit), and partners. This position shall support sales productivity and deal flow by securing the “technical close” in complex solutions related to supported product lines. The Director of Product Management collaborates with sales, operations, marketing, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers. This position combines a passion for teaching, with enthusiasm for technology, to drive learning and establish positive customer relationships. Excellent communication skills and proven technology training experience are essential for developing technical training programs and help others develop skills that will make them better sales and technical professionals when selling and supporting the various products.

Responsibilities
- Commercial success and captured mindshare of key stakeholders of designated product line(s)
- Presales solutions support to key stakeholders including sales and approved Channel Partners for assigned product lines
- Assist in developing and maintaining technical training content, lab exercises, presentations, and accompanying materials
- Ability to build and maintain complex price lists
- Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customer’s met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the organization
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel, or teams
- Provides coaching and professional development to team-member sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills
- RFP Support for Complex Cellular Gateway and Boosting Solutions Bids
- Deliver instructor-led classroom/conference room training to partners and end-user customers on a regular schedule throughout the U.S.
- Webinars and on-site training for both groups and individuals
- Produce training schedules and classroom agenda
- Assist in the development of formalized Training and Train-the-Trainer programs for designated product line solutions targeted to sales, technical Teams, and end customers
- Keep and report data on completed courses, absences, issues, etc.
- Observe and evaluate results of training programs
- Build training programs and deliver training to the internal teams at GetWireless (Sales, Technical, Marketing, etc.)
- Ability to collaborate with marketing, sales, and technical resources to facilitate this task
- Assist in the design and build-out of demo devices for use at trade shows and events
- Build channel proficiency in presenting the value-add propositions of designated products in their related vertical markets
- Collaboration and cooperation with all other members of the Product Management team

- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- 10 years of technical selling experience with related product lines
- Deep technical understanding of cellular gateway/router solutions and boosting solutions used in public safety, transit, utilities, and industrial markets
- Solid knowledge base of cellular networks and boosting solutions / working knowledge of IP Networking Technology
- Proven experience with building and delivering complex BOM’s and customer quotations
- Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects
- Proficient demonstration skills with all designated products
- Experience in designing technical course content
- Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to groups
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Strong communication skills using proper grammar and spelling when speaking and writing
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project; ability to use CRM tools
- Up to 25% travel required
