What You’ll Do:
As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing instrumentation and electrical equipment to ensure smooth plant operations. You will also lead projects, oversee preventive maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor junior I&E Technicians, ensuring adherence to safety standards
- Troubleshoot, commission and calibrate instrumentation (Coriolis, DP, Vortex, Turbine, Mag meters, Level and PH instruments).
- Utilize tools such as Fluke meters, Emerson Hart Communicator Trex, and motor meggers.
- Lead preventive maintenance and implement process improvements.
- Manage spare parts inventory and procurement.
- Act as a liaison between plant operations and management, providing performance reports.
- Oversee lockout/tagout procedures, confined space entries and emergency response plans.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance and safety training sessions.
What You Bring:
✔ Education & Experience:
- HS Diploma/GED required (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Instrumentation and Control preferred)
- Proven work experience in industrial maintenance, I&E, or a related field
✔ Technical Expertise:
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Proficiency in basic computer operations for maintenance logs and reports
✔ Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for prolonged periods, and climb stairs
- Must be medically cleared for respiratory protection equipment
