Job Description

This is a union position within our Raw Material area of the plant.

This position is responsible for taking totes of material out of storage, documenting use of totes, and ensuring that the production process is primed.

 While in the position, the person will operate many types of machinery, monitor control points (metal detectors, etc.) to ensure food safety compliance, operate fork trucks to transport pallets of material and ensure the work area remains clean.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or food production environment is a plus.
• Experience operating forklifts or other industrial equipment preferred (certification is a plus).

Additional Information

• Comfortable working in a cold/wet environment.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
