You have experience with small to mid-scale synthesizers and purification, analytical characterization of chemically synthesized oligonucleotides and optimization of the oligonucleotide platform.

- PhD with 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Excellent knowledge and thorough understanding of SPS and purification of Oligo’s
- Leading design of oligos based on structure guided approach
- In-depth knowledge of oligo modification strategy
- Expert in operating instruments and equipment including HPLC, LC-MS, UV/Vis, MerMade, Dr. Oligo, AKTA Oligo Pilot Synthesizers
- Data analysis and decision making to make recommendations/presentations to senior leadership
- Prior experience leading direct reports – people/team management experience
- Ability to work efficiently within a dynamic team and/or independently under aggressive timeliness are required
- Driving innovation in oligo synthesis including design, synthesis and characterization of novel oligonucleotide structures to improve potency and efficacy.
- Cross functional collaboration with research, translational biology, CMC and other groups
- Managing and mentoring junior scientific staff and leading associates in a cross-functional environment.
