Description

Degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the AEC industry with at least 6 years of working experience with BIM technology.
Autodesk Revit Professional certification or equivalent.
Architectural licensure preferred.
Description
Work as part of the IT Team with the firm’s CAD and Revit specialists to identify trends and business opportunities relating to design technologies.
- Developing strategies for improved project delivery and processes.
- Train staff and act as a day-to-day technical resource for the Revit and BIM users at all GLMV offices to ensure BIM standards are maintained.
- Lead the GLMV BIM committee.
- Coordinate the provision of hardware and network support for BIM production.
- Manage software products including, but not limited to, incorporating new version releases and customization of the product, as well as supporting software.
- Implement and enforce BIM standards including protocols and procedures for maintaining content files.
- Assist project managers in BIM project setup and in creating Revit project-specific families.
- Create Revit Guidelines and training materials/resources for GLMV’s intranet.
- Create and maintain software template files to assure standards remain functional for Revit users.
- Direct and oversee development of automated routines in BIM to support standards and productivity.
- Troubleshoot BIM software problems, as needed.
- Conduct internal continuing education (lunch & learns, training sessions, etc.)
- Provide technical onboarding to new hires.
- Evaluate new BIM related software and technologies and remain up to date on all software updates.
- Attend conferences that relate to BIM software and technologies and integrate newly learned workflows at GLMV.
- Experience in training, developing, and mentoring all staff levels in BIM technology.
- Knowledge of all phases of the architectural project execution.
- Knowledge of a variety of project delivery methods, including IPD and Lean construction.
- Ability to create software implementation project plans, schedules, and protocols.
- Ensure project teams’ successful performance in accordance with the project plans.
