Role Overview:
A PCB design sales role involves actively selling printed circuit board (PCB) design services to

collaborating with engineers to tailor designs to specific project requirements while managing client
relationships and driving sales growth within a designated territory.
Key responsibilities:
Lead generation and prospecting:
Identify potential clients in the electronics sector with PCB design needs through market research,
networking, and cold calling.
Technical consultation:
Understand client project requirements, including electrical specifications, design constraints, and
desired functionalities, to recommend appropriate PCB design solutions.
Sales presentations and proposals:
Develop detailed proposals outlining design scope, pricing, timelines, and technical specifications to
present to potential clients.
Customer relationship management:
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at client companies, maintaining regular
communication and addressing any concerns throughout the sales cycle.
Collaboration with engineering team:
Work closely with PCB design engineers to translate client requirements into feasible designs,
ensuring technical accuracy and manufacturability.
Pricing and quoting:
Provide accurate cost estimates based on project complexity, design features, and manufacturing
considerations.
Market analysis and trend awareness:
Stay updated on emerging PCB design technologies, industry standards, and market trends to

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in sales and business development within the semiconductor
- operations or post-silicon engineering services industry.
Required skills and qualifications:
Technical knowledge:
Strong understanding of PCB design principles, including schematic capture, layout design, signal
integrity, power integrity, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
Electronics background:
Familiarity with electronic components, circuit design, and manufacturing processes.
Sales acumen:
Proven track record of successful sales experience in the electronics industry, including lead
generation, negotiation, and closing deals.
Communication skills:
