Role: ATE Test Technician
Location: San Jose, CA

Major Skills
🔧 Testers: ETS364, Chroma, J750, and 93k tester
🔧 Handlers: Epson, Chroma, Hontech
Key Responsibilities
✅ Diagnose and troubleshoot handlers/probers/test stations, collaborating with engineers and vendors for equipment resolution.
✅ Support the setup and frequent docking/undocking of ATE to prober/handler based on daily activities.
✅ Troubleshoot test board performance issues and escalate them for permanent fixes.
✅ Perform device-level testing using automated handlers, probers, and semiconductor test equipment.
✅ Visual inspection of parts for backend activities (bake, pack, labeling) and support as needed.
✅ Gather engineering data using Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Multi-meters, and related tools.
✅ Follow procedures for prober and handler setups and support off-shift, weekend, and holiday activities.
Competency Requirements
✔ Familiar with IC tester operation and test program loading.
✔ Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and multitasking with attention to detail.
✔ Experience in working with application, product, and test engineering teams.
✔ Self-starter, with the ability to complete tasks independently.
✔ Proficient in basic Microsoft applications and semiconductor test processes.
✔ Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
Minimum Qualifications
🎓 Technical Diploma
🔹 3 years of experience in semiconductor testing
🔹 Willingness to work overtime and adapt to shift requirements
🔹 Familiarity with probers is a plus
