Engineering Tech or Trainee (Field Construction Materials Testing)
For over 50 years, Test Lab, Inc. has provided quality engineering services to our clients. We provide Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Materials Engineering and Testing and Construction Inspection Services. Test Lab is seeking Engineering Technicians of all levels for our Tampa and Brooksville locations. Primary duties include Quality Control testing of soil, concrete and asphalt, etc. on construction sites. Minimal travel required (in Company vehicle). We offer training needed for the FDOT Certifications. Work is outdoors in all weather conditions. The work is generally physically demanding.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to lift materials weighing up to 60 lbs.
· Basic Math skills are used to compute test results
· Performs duties at multiple job sites
· Ability to read plans & specifications
· Prepare written reports
· Performs Lab duties at direction of field supervisor
· Load and unload trucks
· Clean and maintain equipment
· Clean and maintain truck
· Carry out minor maintenance and repairs, including lubrication and cleaning
· Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must pass company background checks including drug screen
- Must have an excellent driving record (3 years minimum) within company standards.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
