This position is considered the public interface to the IT department. This position must interact with other departments in a professional and polite manner. This position must demonstrate that the IT department is committed to service.
This position is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of IT Infrastructure and Clinical IT departments. These responsibilities include but are not limited to the processing of vendor invoices, answering incoming phone calls, time card management for all staff, assisting in travel arrangements for all staff and other assigned tasks as needed. This position must work closely with all staff within the department and must handle scheduling requests for the Directors of IT Infrastructure and Clinical IT.

Work is of medium demand; walking, sitting and standing most of the time while on duty. Occasional lifting of equipment is required Adequate hand / eye coordination and fine motor skills required for typing. Talking and hearing is essential in dealing with co-workers and customers.
Good organization skills are a must. Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time is also required. Possessing the ability to effectively communicate and follow through on assigned tasks is important.
