Hearthstone Communities is in growth mode and currently seeking a Senior Director of Physicals Plant Operations to join our team! The Senior Director of Physicals Plant Operations is responsible to develop, implement, and oversees predictive, preventative maintenance and environmental services across the campus! Apply now! Responsibilities : Lead and support the maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure the physical plant and equipment is maintained and regulatory compliance is met in all aspects of life safety and emergency preparedness.
Demonstrates competence in application of mechanical and technical concepts to physicals plant and equipment repair and maintenance projects.
Coordinates with outside contractors and trades-people in construction, repair and maintenance of physical plant and equipment Oversees completion of documentation and record keeping of maintenance Makes clear performance expectations of people while empowering them and holding the accountable.
Demonstrates the ability to function in a supportive role, by providing guidance.
QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or general education degree (GED); plus five years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in senior housing required.
Bachelor's degree in safety, engineering or other related field preferred.
Technical certification in discipline(s) preferred.
Experienced with life safety regulations and emergency preparedness regulations including participation in surveys, writing and implementing plans of correction.
Experienced with budget management and resource allocation.
Experienced with project management Experienced with working with budget management and resource allocation Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use.
Outstanding interpersonal skills including the ability to lead and motivate others.
