What the Concierge does!

The full-time Concierge position works Wednesday - Sunday from 10:00am - 5:30pm and is responsible for coordinating all winery reservations and fulfilling all customers’ requests via email and phone. This position also provides administrative support to the Tasting Room Manager and Bistro 107 Manager, as needed, with the goal of ensuring all guests have an extraordinary experience based on their needs and special requests. The day to day will include:

• Managing the reservation system through Tock platform, in coordination with private event bookings, for Tasting Room & Patio, JRS Terrace & Patio, Bistro 107 & Wine Bar 107, and Wine Club events.
• Providing timely customer correspondence calls, texts, email inboxes and Redchirp application.
• Handling customer service issues professionally and in a positive manner.
• Entering and processing Tock payments and reconciling with the POS system (Commerce7)
• Ordering and displaying merchandise
• Soliciting, scheduling, instructing and requesting payments for Secret Shoppers.
• Other administrative data entry/reporting tasks and general project support for the Hospitality Department

• 1 year of administrative experience
• Experience working with a reservation system preferred
• Prior experience ordering merchandise preferred
• Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
• Must be effective in problem resolution including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
• Must be effective at listening to understanding and clarifying the issues raised by guests.
• Prior experience ordering merchandise preferred
• Ability to be proactive and efficient
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
• Willingness to be flexible with assisting multiple departments and adapting to change in priorities
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Must be available weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs on occasion.
• Repetitive office motions (use of phone and computer), sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time, reaching, and kneeling.
• Work typically performed indoors in an office environment.
