We’re excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled and experienced Electrical Automated Test Equipment Technician to join our growing company. In this role, you will be instrumental in building advanced automated test systems for aircraft electronic and electrical components, adhering to rigorous standards established by third-party OEMs and industry regulations. Collaborating closely with our dedicated shop and design teams, you will play a vital role in achieving the ATE group’s goals and driving our mission forward.
Some of the job duties for this position include but are not limited to:
- Strong ability to integrate electrical hardware into functional and reliable automated systems, especially within aerospace, along with fundamental discrete analog I/O skills
- Proficient in understanding electrical schematics.
- Talented in the use of soldering stations, power supplies, and related equipment
- Expertise in wiring ARINC and MIL-type connectors
- Familiarity with aircraft crimping tools
- Experience in assembling high voltage circuits (1000Vac/Vdc and beyond
- Proficient in wiring harnesses and interface test adapters
- Skilled in the assembly of complex electronic boxes and units
- Ability to perform thorough dry checks on electrical devices, including harnesses and adapters
- Experience in wiring and assembling electrical and electronic units
- Capability in soldering printed circuit boards (PCBs), including multilayer designs.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with Testek team members, suppliers, and customers around the globe
- A self-motivated individual with a driven work ethic
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for equipment installation
- Must be a US Citizen
