- Performs initial start-up and operational ATP testing of complex automated test equipment at the Testek Solutions factory in Wixom MI.
- Travel both domestically and internationally as required.
- Performs on-site installation and acceptance testing at the customer’s facility.
- Performs start-up, testing, and troubleshooting of hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and fuel systems on Testek Solutions products.
- Performs start-up, testing, and troubleshooting of motor control, electrical control circuits, and process instrumentation.
- Perform customer training (Operation/Maintenance/Calibration) on Testek Solutions equipment.
- Must be able to read and interpret electrical, fluid and mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Must be able to review, interpret, and apply technical data provided by vendors, customers, and other sources.
- Implements and develops design changes to resolve testing and operational issues.
- Diagnose/evaluate complex automated test equipment for repair.
- Perform repairs as required.
- Maintain repair records and prepare reports as required by the customer and Testek Solutions management.
- Assist Sales with information regarding upgrades and spare parts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and AutoCAD.
- Must be able to read and interpret Schematics for Troubleshooting purposes.
- Provide regular detailed customer feedback to the leadership team.
- Supports Customer Service Manager with customer “case” resolution.
- Coordinates machine start-up with engineering and customer support to assure compliance to specifications and contract requirements.
- Research replacement parts and the associated costs.
- Must use independent discretion, decision making and judgment while performing onsite repairs at customer site.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with all organizational levels.
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize assignments quickly.
- Must be flexible and work well with others in a fast-paced team environment.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Must be able to pass a background check for security clearance.
- Focus on turning “cases” into opportunities and bookings.
- Support the effort to ensure Aftermarket Solution Team is a critical technical resource to our customers.
- Support regular customer service assessments are completed.
- Support the training of new Test and Aftermarket SE’s.
Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or board of directors. Must have: Valid Driver’s License and Passport Experience using: Common hand tools, DVM, Amp Meters, O-Scope, Process Calibrator, Calibration equipment EOE – Equal Opportunity Employer.
