Summary/Purpose of the Position:
We are looking for an Order Processing Specialist to add to our growing team! The Order Processing Specialist is responsible for entry and processing of customer’s purchase orders and web orders within the set policies and guidelines.
Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:
- Order processing
- Vetting orders for fraud and compliance
- Working with customer portals and processing quotes and orders
- Ensure orders on hold are reviewed and released in a timely manner
- Work with the Shipping department and or vendors to ensure that orders are processed in accordance to requested shipping method
- Review backlog twice weekly to ensure all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner
- Perform warehouse transfers
Qualifications
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2 years of sales related customer service tasks and responsibilities
- Excellent communication both verbally and in writing
- Attention to detail skills
- Microsoft Office skills and knowledge (data entry)
- Prior experience utilizing an ERP system
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
- Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local regulations
