A Suicide Prevention Specialist Outreach Coordinator will conduct all duties a Suicide Prevention Specialist would along with the following : Attending stakeholder meetings with / program manager or represent CVSPH. Assist in developing marketing outreach through social media outlets. Coordinate promote suicide prevention activities throughout the 7 stakeholder counties. Organize and schedule events throughout the stakeholder counties. Leverage community partnerships to promote and host outreach events. Conduct presentations and trainings to our stakeholder partners of the counties we serve. Core Duties : Conduct presentations and trainings to our stakeholder partners of the counties we serve. Provide suicide telephone intervention and counseling to those in crisis. Evaluate consumer for the need of W & I 5150 Codes Evaluation, coordinating appropriate short-term rescue response.\ Maintain clear, accurate and concise consumer records in a timely manner via iCarol data collection software program & additional documentation systems as needed. Assist in developing new community resources, provide consultation, outreach and education in all counties served by CVSPH and work with the Program Manager in doing so. Maintain updated knowledge of all afterhours county information. Provide supervision of suicide intervention specialists and volunteers working on the CVSPH lines. Assist in developing marketing outreach through social media outlets. Work directly on telephone lines as a suicide intervention specialist. Demonstrates an openness to use creative and innovative approaches to providing service. Interpersonal and oral communication skills i.e.,maintains confidentiality; treats community partners with respect. Other duties as assigned
