As the Director, Testing Delivery, you will be pivotal in leading and scaling testing delivery operations across a diverse portfolio of global clients. Your leadership will ensure excellence in service delivery, client satisfaction, and achieving strategic objectives. What would your day look like?
- Client Engagement: Participate in strategic meetings with key clients to review progress, discuss upcoming milestones, and ensure alignment with their business goals.
- Operational Oversight: Dive into resource allocation and project schedules to ensure optimal utilization of teams and adherence to timelines. Collaborate with other leaders to address capacity planning, implement process improvements, and drive efficiency.
- Team Development: Spend time leading, mentoring, and managing a team responsible for comprehensive testing delivery. Provide feedback, discuss career aspirations, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Strategic Initiatives: Dedicate part of the day to longer-term goals, such as refining testing methodologies, researching new tools or technologies to improve efficiency, or contributing to business development initiatives.
- Sales Collaboration: engage with enterprise-class prospects in partnership with the Testlio Sales and Delivery teams. Provide authentic and clear guidance on effective quality strategies.
What do you need to succeed?
- A client-centric and consulting-oriented mindset and acumen, ideally honed through multiple years of management consulting, managed services, and other experiences.
- Experience managing a client portfolio of more than 20 accounts at a managed services company (e.g., Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, etc.)
- A deep understanding of testing methodologies, tools (e.g., automation frameworks), and emerging trends to guide teams and innovate service delivery.
- The ability to stay composed under pressure, address unexpected challenges, and navigate complex, fast-paced environments with agility and resilience.
- A keen intellect, vivid imagination, systems thinking, and rapid problem-solving skills.
- 5 years of direct management experience, with a proven track record of driving performance, optimizing delivery processes, and fostering team development in professional services.
- Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve greatness.
- Excellent written, visual, and oral communication capabilities, enabling deep listening, clear understanding, and invigorating message delivery.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
