Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Application Support Specialist to join our team, supporting the Testo Pharma Solutions suite, Testo Saveris 1 system, and Testo Food Solution team. This role involves providing high-quality technical assistance and service for clients in the pharmaceutical and food industries, specifically with Testo instruments and digital monitoring systems used in critical quality control and compliance processes. A basic understanding of IT infrastructure and system configurations is essential for success in this role.
This position requires the ability to travel up to 30%, including customer site visits for installations, training, troubleshooting, and support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Deliver timely and effective support for Testo Pharma Solutions, Testo Saveris 1, and Testo Food Solution systems, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and system connectivity issues.
- Client Training: Educate users on system functionalities and best practices to optimize the usage of Testo instruments and digital solutions.
- System Configuration & Data Management: Assist in configuring, maintaining, and validating system settings and data integrity to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technical support, product development, and field service teams, to resolve complex system issues and enhance product performance.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive support documentation, technical guides, and training materials for internal and external users.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives, providing feedback to enhance service quality, efficiency, and user experience.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or comparable work experience.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in application support, IT support, or a customer-facing technical role, ideally in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical, food, or healthcare industries).
- Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in troubleshooting software, hardware, and network-related issues.
o Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, databases, and cloud-based systems.
o Familiarity with Testo systems (Saveris 1, Pharma Solutions, and Food Safety) is a plus.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively support clients and collaborate with internal teams.
- Customer-Focused: Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service with a proactive approach to problem-solving and user support.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%, including on-site customer visits for support, training, and troubleshooting.
