Job Profile: Associate Product Manager - Instrumentation
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for managing and supporting the product strategy, execution, and customer satisfaction for Testo’s food and pharma instrumentation line. This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of Testo instrumentation, aligning with customer needs, and driving market growth.
Responsibilities:
Result-oriented execution of defined product initiatives. In detail:
- Manages the product lifecycle, from strategic planning to execution, for Testo food and pharma instrumentation.
- Develops and maintains product roadmaps and timelines.
- Works closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to support product positioning and customer adoption.
- Analyzes market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to drive product improvements and innovations.
- Collaborates with global Testo teams to align North American product strategies with corporate objectives.
- Partners with Key Account Managers to enhance product adoption and customer engagement.
- Provides technical support and training for sales teams and customers.
- Maintains product-related data and reporting within SAP and CRM systems.
- Manages project plans, risk assessments, and communication plans related to product implementation.
- Identifies and implements best practices in product management and customer experience.
- Engages with cross-functional teams to secure resources and drive project success.
- Develops proposals and presentations for product enhancements and new initiatives.
- Acts as a subject matter expert for Testo instrumentation within the Solutions Department.
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree (MS, MBA) in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in product management, project management, or a related field within the instrumentation, food, or pharma industry is strongly preferred.
- Training in project management is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and customer insights.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM, and project management tools.
- Ability to work independently within a matrix environment and manage multiple priorities.
