Job Overview
The Director of Digital Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. This role will oversee all aspects of digital marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with Tethrd's brand and business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of digital marketing channels, a passion for the outdoors, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful campaigns.
Responsibilities
Campaign Execution & Management:
- Own the execution and management of multi-channel digital marketing campaigns, including email, SMS, and digital advertising.
- Develop and optimize campaign strategies to maximize ROI and achieve business goals.
- Work with the ecommerce team to ensure campaign timing, strategy, and end-to-end cohesion. Maintain Shopify integrations with 3rd party marketing tools (Klaviyo, Google Ads, Meta, etc.)
Digital Marketing Calendar:
- Manage the digital marketing campaign calendar to ensure timely execution of initiatives and alignment with key product launches, weekly campaigns, and seasonal events.
Growth & Retention:
- Drive growth and retention strategies across all digital marketing channels, leveraging analytics to inform decision-making and optimize performance.
Campaign Creative:
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to generate and coordinate creative assets for digital channels, ensuring brand consistency and compelling messaging. As necessary, design and modify existing designs to support omni-channel campaigns.
Opportunity Identification:
- Identify and execute growth opportunities within all digital marketing channels, utilizing data and market insights to inform strategies.
Performance Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders and making recommendations for future strategies.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in digital marketing, email marketing, with a proven track record of crafting and managing successful campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, tools, and analytics platforms.
- Experience designing, building, and executing email marketing, SMS campaigns, and flows. Klaviyo or Hubspot experience is a plus.
- Experience designing campaign collateral and proficiency with Adobe Create Suite is required.
- Ability to think strategically while also being detail-oriented and results-driven.
- Proven understanding of critical marketing and ecommerce KPIs and with the ability to demonstrate how to impact those KPIs (LTV, CPA, AOV, CPM, ROAS, Open Rate, CTR, etc.)
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Passion for the hunting industry and a deep understanding of customer needs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment.
- Expectation to travel to Columbia, TN periodically and as required.
