Technician/Office Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PT technician and office assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with a focus on providing high-quality therapy services. A thorough understanding of anatomy and medical terminology is a plus but not required. As a tech, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain mobility and improve their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to enhance recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and home care strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
• Help with documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes.

Qualifications

• Experience in inpatient, outpatient, or acute care settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with geriatrics and the unique challenges faced by older adults.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient service and care.
• Knowledge of multi-phone lines, statements, and medical billing is a plus.
• Understanding of insurance deductible, Co-insurance/Co-pay and Out of Pocket max

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.42 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift

Ability to Relocate:

• Idaho Falls, ID 83404: Relocate before starting work (Required)
