Director Corporate Affairs, North America
We are looking for a Director Corporate Affairs, US and Canada.
In this role you will drive the implementation of the Tetra Pak Public Affairs, Government and Stakeholder Relations strategy in the US and Canada.
The preferred location for this position is Denton, Texas where our headquarters are or Washington, D.C., but we can consider other locations as well.
What You Will Do
As a Director Corporate Affairs for the region, you will develop and execute the Tetra Pak’s government and industry related advocacy strategy, acting as the key interface between Tetra Pak and federal and state governments, policy makers, industry and trade associations and external stakeholders. The role is responsible for positioning Tetra Pak as a trusted partners and advisor to policy makers and stakeholders to help shape policy and regulation that drives competitiveness in the food and beverage value chain as well as sustainable development. In this position you will also work very closely with the local country management team to develop national strategies and vision.
You will be responsible for managing regulatory preparedness across key policies that have business impact as well as building and managing relationships with policy makers, government officials and agencies and key influencers representing businesses and civil society.
You will report to the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer based in Switzerland and be part of a global Corporate Affairs Leadership Team.

The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances.

We believe you have
- Master’s degree in public policy, international affairs, law and/or similar preferred.
- Minimum fifteen years of experience in government affairs, corporate affairs or in a similar role in a multinational company or a public affairs firm
- Work experience from the food and beverage sector including packaging is desirable
- Established policy and sustainability network and stakeholder relationships in the region and key countries highly desirable
- Demonstrated strong understanding of the regional legislative and political environment and federal and state government policy making processes
- The role requires the ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a complex environment where flexibility and influencing and relationship building skills are essential
- You are a critical thinker with a can do attitude and an outcome-focused management style
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving capability

- Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $198,200.00 – 231,700.00
- Short-term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 18% of ABS
