Our Services Organization is growing at a high pace, that’s why we are looking for enthusiastic and customer-oriented Field Service Engineers/Technicians to join our team in the United States.
As a Field Service Engineer/Technician, you will be a part of a professional and dedicated team responsible for delivering technical products and support to our customers by providing preventive maintenance and technical services.
You will act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak and help maintain the company’s reputation for commitment and service worldwide. That’s why we consider this role to be of great importance.
In this position, you will be travelling extensively across the US, and occasionally abroad.
What you will do
As a Field Service Engineer/Technician, you will:
- Provide installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance services on Tetra Pak Equipment while driving continuous improvement at the customer's plant.
- Execute hands-on preventative and corrective maintenance activities to optimize system performance.
- Conduct troubleshooting and fault-finding services on site and remotely.
- Collaborate with customers to build and maintain a positive, ongoing relationship, while also addressing and follow-up on their concerns and issues.
- Oversee production and provide training to customer personnel on the operation of Tetra Pak equipment.
- Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak standards and requirements regarding product quality and food safety.
We believe you have
- A technical or engineering background, and/or relevant technical experience. Ideally, some knowledge of automation systems.
- Mechanical experience, including knowledge of processing and packaging, will be considered as an advantage.
- Prior experience with Tetra Pak equipment is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
- Must be open to extensive travel within the US and Canada region.
- An attitude to represent Tetra Pak at our customers, such as:
- Demonstrate a customer-first mindset and always prioritizing their needs.
- Team player with high commitment, but with the ability to act decisively if/when needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply structure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Given the variety of available positions, we are also seeking recent graduates with an Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Instrumentation and Control, Automation, Electronics, Industrial Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, Welding or related fields. Previous internships or projects involving PLCs, Allen Bradley or Siemens programming, and networks will be considered a plus.
Pay Equity
Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
- Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $54,000.00 – 83,700.00
- Short-term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 10% of ABS.
