Job Summary
Tetra Pak is seeking an enthusiastic Portfolio Manager for our Separation product line. The main responsibilities include driving sales, developing the portfolio, and ensuring competency in the separation product line. This position can be based in any of our offices in the Americas.
You may need to travel up to 30% of the time, both regionally and globally.
Tetra Pak does not sponsor work visas or provide relocation assistance for this position.
What you will do
As a Portfolio Manager - Separation, you will:
- Drive strategy to achieve sales targets for separators.
- Oversee and coach a small team of Application Engineers.
- Provide technical, engineering, and financial expertise in quoting KC solutions, ensuring compliance with legal and commercial policies. Align with stakeholders, including MC Sales/Project Team, Business Units, and Order Handlers, to implement committed offerings seamlessly.
- Support the Sales Team by offering technical analysis, value propositions, pricing and margin calculations, and customer presentations. Track open proposals and provide recommendations to capture new business.
- Lead information dissemination on product performance, industry trends, and competitor analysis. Share insights with Sales and Portfolio Teams to inform product development. Conduct technical and process training for the MC Sales and Project Team.
- Oversee business performance and tracking, including portfolio management, quality control, delivery resolution, and addressing cross-border issues and channel conflicts.
- Share expertise in separators for food applications and stay informed about external expertise and competitors in the relevant competence area.
- Translate market needs and technical requirements into sales and marketing opportunities, considering budgets.
- Size, configure, validate, and quote separators based on technical specifications.
- Advise Tetra Pak Business Units and Services on current orders, project timelines (e.g., shipping, start-up/commissioning), and technical subjects during the warranty period.
- Leverage technical cooperation with Tetra Pak Services and other partners to drive service solutions and revenue.
- Develop the portfolio by collecting market feedback and driving new product deployment.
We believe you have
- 5 years' experience within Processing Solutions or related field.
- Engineering or Food Science Degree.
- Good understanding of production machinery within the food industry.
- Commercial understanding.
- Team player and easy work across boundaries.
- Structured thinker and problem-solving mindset.

- Have a continuous improvement mindset.
Pay Equity
Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances.
- Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $100,100 USD – $157,100 USD
- Short-term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 10% of ABS
