Essential Duties:
- Develop and implement environmental management systems and sustainability initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations, permits, and standards
- Conduct environmental risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Monitor and report on environmental performance metrics and KPIs
- Lead environmental audits and inspections of facilities and operations
- Manage relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders
- Develop and deliver environmental training programs for employees
- Oversee waste management, pollution prevention, and resource conservation programs
- Investigate environmental incidents and implement corrective actions
- Prepare environmental reports, documentation, and permit applications
- Stay current with changing environmental regulations and industry best practices
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate environmental considerations into business operations
Requirements:
- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, or related field, Master’s Degree preferred
- EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in environmental management within the oil & gas industry
- LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Certification in Environmental Management (e.g., Certified Environmental Professional - CEP) preferred, Must possess a valid Driver’s License
- TRAVEL: 50%

- Submit to and satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience with environmental management systems (ISO 14001)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Project management experience
- Ability to interpret technical data and translate it for non-technical audiences
- Proficiency with environmental monitoring tools and software
