Your Role:
A junior-level Transportation Engineer to join our Transportation team full-time. As an EIT, you will be involved with the design of local roadways, highways, multi-use paths and traffic control systems, and will work with our team of recognized industry experts.
- Design of highway, arterial and local roadway improvements
- Performs a variety of routine engineering tasks, including development of roadway, signing, pavement marking, traffic signal, and maintenance of traffic plans
- Perform roadway 3D Modeling
- Prepare estimated quantity calculations and cost estimates
- Assist in the preparation of engineering documents, plans, and specifications
- Assist in the development of project schedules
- Perform site visits to support the design process
- Prepare alternative evaluation studies and similar reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering (transportation focus is a plus)
- 1-2 years of experience is a plus
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification with the intent to obtain Professional Engineer Certification, preferred
- Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
- Experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D is preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft software, to include Word and Excel
