Tetra Tech supports our clients in developing renewable projects from concept to completion. Tetra Tech routinely assists our renewable energy development clients with siting, due diligence, permitting, and compliance. The position will support a variety of projects and clients within our growing CA energy practice, including siting, routing, and environmental permitting for utility-scale and distributed solar, battery energy storage, onshore wind, offshore wind, and electric transmission projects throughout California.
This Project Manager - Renewables position will be affiliated with our Irvine Office but can be a remote position. This is a unique and challenging opportunity to join a dynamic environmental consulting environment. We are a collaborative, supportive, and entrepreneurial team that will allow you to challenge yourself and grow professionally while assisting in the growth of Tetra Tech's Renewable Energy practice in the California and the Western US.

Your Role :
- Serve as a Project Manager-including responsibilities to manage technical projects, engage with clients to identify new work opportunities, prepare proposals and cost estimates, establish and formulate technical approaches, and direct multi-disciplinary project teams to complete projects on time and on budget.
- Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders.
- Support or lead preparation and production of land use and resource permit applications for federal, state, and local agencies and jurisdictions.
- Perform various consulting-related duties supporting the development, analysis, permitting and financial aspects of onshore and offshore renewable energy development projects.
- Support business development efforts including client meetings and proposal preparation.

Compensation :
Salary commensurate with experience.
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000 per year
Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience and demonstrated work experience in the described role, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed.
