Tetra Tech's Disaster Recovery Unit is looking for Data Analysts to assist in maintaining quality control of the datasets from debris operations incurred by our clients during recent disasters. This will be an in-office role located in north Houston.
Responsibilities :
- Analysis of project data using software such as Microsoft Excel and PowerBI
- Ability to comprehend and apply a particular scope of practice and workflow process
- Quality assurance and quality control of project data
- Generating daily reports regarding project metrics, work completion, and cost
- Digital file organization of project documents
- Work through a field team in order to relay vital project information and accuracy
- Completion of client data inquiries as requested by project management
- Reading comprehension and application of federal policies to project data
Job role will progress and change as experience is acquired. Every employee begins as an entry level analyst to develop and progress understanding of required tasks. These tasks will include data entry and reconciliation, project reporting, and file organization, among others. Individuals who display extreme competency at assigned tasks may eventually be given the opportunity to take on a larger role in the disaster recovery process, including communication with clients and / or FEMA representatives.
