Your Role :
We are seeking a motivated Mid-Level Geologist to assist in growing Tetra Tech's Texas environmental business. Candidate must be highly motivated and work well in a professional and team-oriented environment. Candidate must also have the ability to manage a heavy workload, travel as needed, possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficiency with MS Office applications is a requirement.
Tetra Tech is seeking a Mid-Level Geologist to join our Houston, Texas team to provide support on various environmental projects throughout Texas. This position will support a variety of environmental contracts, including commercial and local government. Duties will include :
- The creation of reports for various types of investigations, including environmental site assessments and remediation projects.
- Manage project tasks and financials and lead junior staff during projects.
- The preparation of charts, boring logs, and cross-sections depicting subsurface conditions.
- Develop proposals including scope of work and budgetary estimates.
- Field work will include but is not limited to directing the installation of soil borings and groundwater monitoring wells, groundwater / soil sampling, site inspections, and subcontractor oversight.
- The position may require extensive outdoor work as well as extended overnight travel. Other duties may be assigned.
