What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Enclosure Consultant position at Tetra Tech?
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Building Enclosure Consultant to join our Enclosures team and LA Office. In this role, you will provide expert consultation on building enclosure design, performance, commissioning, and maintenance for a variety of projects in the construction industry. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the development of high-quality, sustainable, energy-efficient, and durable building enclosures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough investigations and assessments of existing building enclosures to identify potential issues and develop appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to design and specify building enclosure systems that meet project requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
- Identify needs, review and participate in hygrothermal modeling and analysis to inform design decisions and optimize building performance.
- Develop technical reports, provide technical reviews of specifications, and drawings to communicate design concepts and recommendations to clients and project stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members to support their professional development and growth.
- Integrate with other Building Science Group and Engineering Services team members on projects, pursuits and research work.
- Participate in Business Development and proposal scope and fee development.
- Participate in Enclosure team meetings, financial and staff development.
- Project management skills development and management of Enclosure and / or other project types.
Qualifications :
Salary Range : $140,000 - $160,000
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the proposed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Glumac’s total compensation package for employees.
