Job Description:
As an Environmental Project Manager at Tetra Tech, you will collaborate with industry-leading experts to drive a sustainable future. You will combine consulting and engineering with advanced analytics and technology to solve complex challenges.
Your Role:
- Prepare cost proposals, develop business strategies, and negotiate contracts.
- Negotiate subcontractor agreements and oversee their performance.
- Develop work plans, health & safety plans, quality assurance/project control plans, and data quality objectives.
- Conduct fieldwork, including sampling soil/soil gas/groundwater, site assessments, and remediation.
- Manage projects, including invoicing, budget tracking, and schedule management.
- Oversight of environmental site assessments and remediation projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering/Geology or related area.
- Minimum 8 years direct experience in site investigations involving impacts to soil, soil-gas, indoor air quality, and groundwater.
- Minimum 8 years direct experience in developing and implementing environmental site remediation programs.
- Proven performance overseeing staff and outside contractors.
- Experience with local, city, county, and federal permitting requirements.
- OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour trained (8-hour supervisor training preferred).
