Your Role :
The Transportation Engineer develops plans and reports for transportation projects according to established engineering standards and local, state, and / or federal policies and requirements.This role will involve CEI - Construction Engineering & Inspection projects.
- Manage construction contracts in the field, ODOT and OTA
- Issue change orders, pay estimates, final estimate, audit, and close out.
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with clients
- Write a scope of work for transportation Construction Engineering and Inspection - (CEI) services based on preliminary review and meetings with the client
- Act as a technical advisor to less experienced engineers and technicians; manage and mentor staff
- Acquire new projects from existing and potential clients
