Essential Duties :
Perform the day-to-day tasks required to operate and maintain a Clear Brine Fluid blending facility safely. Ensure that all facility activities are conducted in the safest possible manner. Conduct all tasks within the Blend Plant Best Safety Practices and in such a way as to minimize waste and damage of TETRA’s chemical additives, clear brine fluids, and fixed capital assets.
This position is a seven (7) days on work and seven (7) days off work rotation. The seven (7) days on work schedule requires the employee to reside in the assigned Blend Plant from 8 : 00 am on the crew change day until 8 : 00 AM on the following crew change day. During the on work rotation employees are on call and are expected to follow TETRA’s policies and procedures at all times.
- Follow all instructions regarding Blend Plant activities given to you by the Blend Plant Manager
- Take an active role in keeping the Blend Plant work and residential areas clean andorderly
- Perform in plant Quality Control activities on all fluids shipped and received
- Ensure that all pallet material prepared for delivery is ready for shipment.
- Proper labels are attached to pallets and containers
- Material is properly labeled
- Material containers are in good condition for shipment
- SDS sheets are provided to transporters for all materials shipped.
- Ensure all day-to-day and periodic inspections and maintenance are performed and documented.
