Description:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager (PMP Certified) to lead large-scale enterprise projects with a primary focus on IBM Maximo and MAS 9 implementations and upgrades. This individual will play a critical role in managing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex Maximo-based EAM solutions across the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the upgrade and implementation of IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9), including containerized deployment on Red Hat OpenShift.
- Manage full project lifecycle planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, business SMEs, system integrators, and vendors.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, scope, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, KPIs, and delivery milestones.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies, and industry standards (e.g., NERC/CIP).
- Drive user training, change management, and post-go-live support strategies.
- Utilize Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- PMP Certification (required)
- 15 years of experience in IT Project Management
- 5 years of hands-on experience managing IBM Maximo projects
- Proven experience managing a Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9) upgrade or implementation
- Familiarity with asset management processes in energy, utilities, or public infrastructure
- Strong understanding of system integrations (GIS, SAP, SCADA, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum practices and tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
