Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Miscellaneous Steel Detailer at Winston Steel in Winston Salem / Greensboro, NC area. The role involves creating shop drawings, steel detailing, interpreting architectural drawings, and designing steel structures. Working in the Tekla 3-D modeling software exclusively.
Interact and coordinate, if necessary, with project managers, when the detailing manager is unavailable.
Being able interpret and incorporate any field dimensions, to adjust your work to field conditions.
Have a respectful working relationship with co-workers.
Qualifications
- Shop Drawings and Steel Detailing skills
- Experience with Architectural Drawings
- Knowledge of Steel Structures
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Previous experience in steel detailing or construction industry
- Tekla software proficiency
