Job Description:
Hawaii’s first and oldest photovoltaic (PV) operations and maintenance company seeks PV Field Service Technicians to join its 100% employee-owned statewide team. No previous PV experience is required, and we will provide paid on-the-job training.
Service Technicians are responsible for daily cleaning and maintenance services at residential and commercial sites across the island, including inspecting, cleaning, troubleshooting, and replacing PV systems and their components. The client is on the cutting edge of PV maintenance, utilizing remote-controlled solar cleaning robots and thermal imaging drones to increase efficiency and production.
Candidates will be required to work independently, take initiative, and be accountable for the quality of work. Critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, basic math, reliable transportation, and comfort working at heights are essential.
We will invest in you and your future success through regular education & training. You will not only learn a new trade, but you will also learn valuable skills that will benefit you forever. Ongoing education will be provided and we pay for you to maintain active training certifications such as First Aid, CPR, OSHA 10-hr Construction, Electrical Safety Awareness, Lock Out – Tag Out, and Fall Protection.
