The opportunity
Teva is implementing its ambitious Pivot to Growth strategy, with biosimilars serving as a cornerstone of the company's success. As part of Teva's commitment to establishing leadership in biosimilars, this role plays a pivotal part in expanding the company’s biosimilar franchise and driving the commercialization of one of the most extensive biosimilars pipelines in the industry.
The position leads the inline business, currently consisting of two established oncology biosimilar brands TRUXIMA® and HERZUMA®. The position manages the P&L and ensures late life cycle success through strategic efforts guided by in depth understanding of reimbursement dynamics.
How you’ll spend your day
- Leads inline brand management for TRUXIMA and HERZUMA, two oncology buy-and-bill biosimilars
- Manages P&L focusing on revenue stabilization and gross-to-net optimization
- Leads relaunch efforts on HERZUMA
- Applies strategies to establish long-term sustainability considering pricing, reimbursement, customer mix and 340b dynamics
- Understands needs and dynamics of key customers such as GPOs (clinic/hospital), 340b, payers
- Collaborates with payer marketing on pricing and contracting
- Collaborates on marketing plan and tactics with marketing operations for TRUXIMA and HERZUMA
- Collaborates with the matrix biosimilars marketing team as well as with the wider cross-functional team to deliver on set objectives
- Collaborates with finance and forecasting on financial planning
- Collaborates with forecasting on supply planning
- Drives performance tracking to support inline products in collaboration with the insights/data team, analyzes market data and information and makes informed decisions
- Supports Business Development assessments for inline opportunities
- Understands and stays up to date with biosimilar market dynamics and policy matters
- Aligns organizationally and individually with internal and external codes of conduct
Your experience and qualifications
Education/Certification/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- A minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical experience or equivalent
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in oncology and buy-and-bill
- Strong understanding of market access in medical benefit
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Strong pharmaceutical industry and therapeutic area business acumen
- Strong understanding of the medical benefit market access landscape
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage and coordinated projects with multiple internal stakeholders
- Ability to cope with uncertainty and deliver innovative solutions to new problems
- Ability to build solid cross-functional relationships and work with all levels within an organization
- Self-starter with a “take charge” attitude and the ability to work with minimal direction
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced changing environment with a certain level of ambiguity
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Innovative thinker with a desire for continuous learning
- Able to draw insights from variety of sources, understands market and competition. Compiles relevant data from appropriate sources and performs analysis for the department. Synthesizes complex and diverse information, recognizes trends and/or interrelationship
- Ability to meet objectives and deadlines, promote efficiency and effectiveness, and incorporate improvements and program return on investment (ROI)
- Excellent verbal, written, organization and interpersonal skills required
- Versed in MS Office tools including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
Travel Requirements: Approximately 30% domestic travel throughout the US.
