Tevis is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Account Manager to manage and expand our commercial customer base. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, account management, and a strong understanding of the fuel industry. This individual will be responsible for managing relationships with current commercial accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service to meet customer needs. This position would primarily be an outbound prospecting account management role.
This will be a hybrid position, working from home and out of the Westminster, Maryland location.
$45,000-$55,000 plus commissions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field (preferred). And/or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of experience in account management, sales, or commercial fueling industry (or related field)
- Strong understanding of commercial fueling, fuel management systems, and logistics operations
- Proven track record of managing and growing accounts, with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of commercial fueling accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Develop and execute strategies to increase the commercial customer base and increase sales
- Assist Senior Commercial Account Coordinator for existing clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing ongoing support
- Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient fuel delivery and service
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including outbound prospecting of new clients and negotiating contracts
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of account relationships and sales growth
- Collaborate with internal teams to customize solutions that meet customer needs and industry requirements
- Provide customers with fuel price updates, service offerings, and industry insights to drive informed decision-making
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations for new and existing customers
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all aspects of commercial fueling operations
- Manage the resolution of any billing, payment, or service-related issues with customer
