As a Lead Installer, you will be responsible for overseeing installation projects, ensuring quality workmanship, and leading a team of installers to achieve project goals. This role requires hands-on expertise in various construction techniques and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage installation projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within specifications.
- Lead a team of installers, providing guidance and support throughout the installation process.
- Perform various installation tasks including door hardware installation, door work, access control, and frame work.
- Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete installations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their expectations.
- Conduct quality inspections of completed work to ensure it meets company standards.
- Coordinate with other tradespeople as necessary to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, more so in the Door industry.
- Proficient in using power tools and equipment related to construction projects.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and subcontractors.
- Experience in construction management is a plus but not required.
