Responsibilities
- Safely operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling of items.
- Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for moving heavy loads.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in route driving or as a delivery driver is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting and manual tasks as required.
- Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is an advantage.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
