Tex Tech Industries Inc. is a leading developer and supplier of high-performance materials globally, and we are committed to providing innovative solutions for each of our customers. We serve wide-ranging industries, including aerospace, protective apparel, automotive, law enforcement, coatings, filtration, 3D weaving, and high-performance materials. We are currently looking for a Director of Technical/Quality to fulfill the critical function of driving the Quality Management System (QMS) here at Tex Tech.
The position is responsible for the certification of materials produced at both our North Monmouth and Winthrop facilities. The Director of Technical/Quality interacts with internal and external interested parties. The position is the point of contact for all vendors and customers when issues related to quality are to be addressed. The position requires successful compliance and reporting for ISO audits as well as customer audits.
Job Duties:
Review and updating QMS on an annual basis to keep relevant.
Responsible for both Technical and Quality process and employees.
Oversees lab testing and data collection.
Oversees the certification process
Analyze data, create reports and communicate feedback.
Manages corrective actions process.
Reporting of key metrics for the objectives for quality.
Interpretation and report writing.
Skills/Knowledge
Experience in ISO certification process in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, etc.)
Excellent abilities in both written and verbal communication, as well as project management.
Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree preferred
3-5 years' of work experience in a related industry.
Textile Industry preferred
