Tex Tech Industries, a global leader in the Research, Development, and Manufacturing of Innovative, High-Performance Materials is a premier designer and manufacturer of specialty textiles and fabrics for a wide range of industries and niche applications, is looking for a skilled individual for the position of Millwright.
We are looking for an experienced Millwright with enthusiasm and interest in machines to join our team. The Millwright works in various settings for different industrial projects. Ultimately the Millwright will ensure that all machines operate properly and our facilities remain safe.
Responsibilities:
- Build new industrial machinery
- Repair broken or defective machine parts
- Review and follow highly technical and complex machinery manuals
- Ensuring machines work properly
- Oversee preventive maintenance by identifying and correcting potential issues, replacing work out pieces and lubricating mechanical parts
- Selecting the right tools and equipment to repair machines or systems
- Observing, receiving and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources
- Must work in full compliance with the approved safety regulations.
- Other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Millwright or similar role
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models
- Troubleshooting
- Metal fabrication
- Welding
The position is Monday thru Friday from 7am to 3pm but can also involve weekend and other assigned hours as needed
