CNC Machinist Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience working with CNC machinery. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for producing precision parts and components by interpreting technical drawings and utilizing various machining techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling machines and other machining equipment to produce high-quality parts.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations.
• Assemble components as needed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
• Utilize measuring tools such as calipers and gauges to verify dimensions of finished products.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Package finished products for shipment while ensuring they meet quality requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
• Safely operate forklifts for material handling within the manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• Experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing facility.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical documents.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $25.49 - $27.11 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
