Children’s Center for Autism (CCA) BCBA Clinical Supervisor or Behavior Analyst Supervisee
The Children’s Center for Autism (CCA) is part of Texana’s Center’s Specialized Services Division. Texana Center is a 501(c)3 public, not for profit organization whose mission is to deliver life changing services to people with behavioral health issues and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Texana provides a wide variety of behavior analytic services and has a long history of involvement in public policy at the state and local levels. Texana’s Behavior Analysts are provided with opportunities to collaborate with others and to conduct behavior analytic research. The Children’s Center for Autism (CCA) is a well-established program that has been providing high quality ABA treatment for over 20 years.

The Behavior Analyst Supervisee works under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) until obtaining their BCBA certification and LicenseBehavior Analyst Supervisees must sit for the BCBA exam within three months of hire and must pass the exam within 6 months of hire
Primary job responsibilities include daily supervision and training of assigned Children’s Center staff and daily oversight of each child’s treatment programMaintaining a caseload of 7-9 clients. If the caseload is smaller than 7-9 clients, the BCBA Clinical Supervisor or Behavior Analyst Supervisee may also provide direct technician services to clients until the full caseload is establishedDeveloping individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment programs for each assigned child based on behavioral assessment and individualized data and family inputConducting the initial implementation of the programs; reviewing data frequently, modifying programs as necessary to get maximum progress, and monitoring treatment integrityProviding direct one on one and small group treatment using ABA procedures for children with a diagnosis of autism and / or intellectual disability who display aggressive, disruptive, non-compliant, and / or self-injurious behavior. Training consists of skill acquisition for self-help skills, academic skills, social skills, communication skills, vocational skills, and basic attending skills.Ensuring standardized preference assessments, functional analyses, and skill assessments are conducted in a timely mannerConducting direct observations, collecting data, summarizing data, and documenting training progressWorking in collaboration with parents, teachers, and other staffProviding supervision of all direct care staff including Registered Behavior Technicians in compliance with the BACBProviding supervision to Behavior Analyst Interns and / or BCaBAs as outlined in the BACB Experience StandardsComplying with the Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts as well as the Texana Business Code of ConductRemaining current with the literature of ABA and autism treatmentAttending and participating in monthly meetings with other behavior analysts and managersFlexibility and the ability to identify and solve problems in a team oriented environmentSalary
Behavior Analyst Supervisee : $62,000 annuallyBCBA Clinical Supervisor : $72,000-$81,000 annually depending on years certifiedRequired Experience, Skills, Education and / or Certifications
BCBA Clinical Supervisor :Board certification (through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board) and Texas license or certification applied for on first day of hire
Master’s Degree in Behavior Analysis or with multiple behavior analysis credits during degree completionBehavior Analyst Supervisee :Masters in behavior analysis or related field, all coursework for BCBA completed, and all supervision hours supervision completed
Must sit for board exam within 3 months of hire and obtain BCBA certification within 6 months of hireApplicants should be well-versed in clinical technology as well as able to discuss and explain the technology using scientific and lay termsApplicants should be able to communicate and interact professionally and positively with team members, caregivers, and clientsPreferred Experience, Skills, Education and / or Certifications
