Role Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for all activities relating to the pharmacy and pharmaceutical care for all patients obtaining medications through the Texana Center pharmacy. This position is responsible for supervision of pharmacy personnel, administrative procedures and all operations involving the pharmacy. Must be knowledgeable of all laws, statutes, and Texas State Pharmacy Board regulations related to pharmacy operations. Must also be knowledgeable of pricing and purchasing of pharmaceutical drugs especially psychotropic medications. Reports to the Director of Behavioral Healthcare Services and accepts additional responsibilities as requested by the Director of Behavioral Healthcare Services. Routine hours are 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. Monday through Friday with flexibility to meet program needs as requested by the Director of Behavioral Healthcare Services. Responsible for the adherence to and promotion of the compliance policy.
