About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Conservation Coordinator II to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supervising the activities of regional sustainable grazing facilitators and supporting their work implementing programs and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Optimize utilization of existing resources, tailor those existing resources to specific Landowner Conservation Association's needs, and more efficiently identify future challenges, needs of Landowner Conservation Associations like equipment, continued coordination, or continued membership drives to generate interest among new landowners for joining local associations.* Provide regular face-to-face support for local Landowner Conservation Associations meetings, coordinate local educational programs for associations in their region, and support program outreach in their communities.* Work directly with associations to determine what they need to meet membership goals and assess the uptake of recommended sustainable grazing practices.* Market online learning technologies and point participants who have completed online training to their nearest relevant grazing or fire associations, helping them to become involved in the association.* Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote the work of local Landowner Conservation Associations and encourage participation from new members.
Requirements
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.-Four years of related experience.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.-Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.-Good verbal and written communication skills.
